"Books Should Be Gateways to Broader Readership": Librarians' Summit Held In an effort to discuss the reading culture of the new generation and the future of book reading, BookPlus Publishers organized a 'Librarians' Summit.' Participants at the summit emphasized that libraries serve as the heartbeat of a nation's reading culture and that plans must be developed to ensure the future of reading by effectively utilizing such facilities. The event began with a welcome address by BookPlus Manager Sainudheen Hudawi. Library authorities from various localities in the Tirurangadi Taluk attended the summit, which featured a keynote speech by Somnathan Master, Secretary of the Tirurangadi Taluk Library Council. He highlighted the diversity of reading habits and urged that trending reads should be transformed into gateways for broader readership. The event saw participation from distinguished library officials such as Balakrishnan Master, Murali Master, Ashik Valappil (Secretary of Gramposhini Library), Khalid Chullipara (Chief Librarian of Darul Huda), Mujib Master (Director of Tirurangadi Public Library), Farooq, Bilal, and Badruddin Chembr.
